With its seven subsidiaries, Peters Unternehmensgruppe offers a wide portfolio in the packaging field in the meantime, which is divided into the main divisions of Trade and  Production. As a family company deeply rooted in the region, Peters attaches great importance to the fortes which has characterised the middle class at all times: Solidarity, reliability, standard of work and a healthy internal structure. Overlaps in the portfolio and sales areas of the subsidiaries are consciously accepted in this case because they cause additional safety, stability and flexibility in ability to supply.

From standard packaging to customer-specific special solutions

The business focuses on the production, processing and confectioning of classic sales and transport packaging made of corrugated cardboard and the trade with packaging needs and accessories. In addition, there are constructions tailor-made to individual customers, such as CNC-controlled production of packaging, shaped parts and inlays made of EPE, EPP or Styrofoam at Dajapac. Thus, with out group of companies we are able to solve quickly, flexibly, comprehensively, and always in best quality the transport and packaging tasks of our customer who are found the middle-class segment as well.

Cartonia

Gripping concepts made of corrugated cardboard

Cartonia Wellpappen GmbH & Co. KG was founded in the German town of Dillenburg in 1951 as a processing plant for solid boards. The increased demand in the packaging field was taken into account by setting up a new plant in the German town of Breitscheid-Medenbach in 1975. In 1982 Cartonia was integrated into the Peters Group of Companies.

As one of the first companies in the field, Cartonia developed from in-house corrugated cardboard production to a strong processing specialist in 2002. In the process, the “printing, die-cutting, adhesive bonding” strategy has been implemented successfully and consistently. The product range with approx. 150 types of corrugated cardboard comprises outer packaging, transport, sales and consumer packaging.

The customers of Cartonia come from many different branches. Thus, the company works for the food, non-food, investment and consumer goods industry, and develops packaging solutions in line with the market, among other things for ideal positioning at “point of sale”. In addition, Cartonia offers further processing steps as an external service, such as co-packaging.

Bandis+Knopp GmbH & Co. KG Wellpappenfabrik founded in the German town of Bergisch-Gladbach in 1956 can look back to many years of experience in the production and processing of corrugated cardboard. The company fulfils all customer wishes efficiently from classic transport packaging to complex multi-coloured printed die-cut packaging.

By continuously investing in new production technologies Bandis+Knopp ensures an especially high quality and efficient production. For example, customers receive the complete batch ordered within a matter of five to seven days including delivery.

Dajapac

The right packaging for every product

DAJAPAC Verpackungs- und Betriebsbedarfs-GmbH & Co. KG in Rösrath to the east of Cologne offers its customers a complete product and service offer around packing and dispatch. The portfolio covers everything from corrugated cardboard and other packaging as well as padded enveloped, protection and cushioning material, adhesive tapes and stretch films up to packaging devices and accessories.

The company has special expertise in the CNC-controlled production of shaped parts and inlays made of EPE, EPP or Styrofoam according to customer specifications. This enables Dajapac to develop an overall concept including outer packaging and inlay for sensitive products even, which meet the highest demands in protection and/or isolation. Here, reusable means of transport - such as lattice boxes with EPE foam insert - can be realised.

No matter whether sole traders, craftsmen, middle class or big industry: Dajapac is able to provide the right packaging for every product in close co-ordination with the customer. As a system supplier the Logbox Vertriebsgesellschaft für Verpackungen mbH & Co. KG with its headquarters in the German town of Kamp-Lintfort offers the complete programme of products and services around packing and dispatch. The basis involves a comprehensive consultation from concept to delivery of the final product.

The portfolio comprises standardised and individualised products, such as corrugated cardboard packaging, folding boxes made of solid board, packagings, displays, adhesive tapes, stretch films and air bubble films. Warehouse service contributes to special flexibility - at call Logbox supplies “just in time” quickly and punctually within 24 hours.

Individual packaging for every product

Founded in 1870 as a hatbox and cardboard producer, Remscheider Wellpappenfabrik Otto Hampel has been concentrating on the production and processing of corrugated cardboard exclusively as from the 1950s. In this field, the company specialises in the development and production of constructive transport and sales packaging made of corrugated cardboard.

The most successful products include VaryBoard®, an endless corrugated cardboard in zigzag stacking. It can be printed in two colours by the cardboard plant and is used for manual and automatic packaging with especially flexible possible uses.

Hampel attaches a lot of value to customer proximity and individual consultation. In the field of constructive packaging, the company is considered especially creative and innovative. The careful quality management is documented by a certification in conformity with German standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and by the FSC quality seal.

Wellkistenfabrik Fritz Peters GmbH & Co. KG was founded in the German town of Krefeld in 1939, and since 1957 has had its headquarters in the German town of Moers in the Niederrhein region. Apart from Germany the Benelux countries belong to the countries we serve in particular. The branch know-how of Peters covers almost all sectors of industry. Our own fleet of vehicles and intelligent logistics concepts round off the service.

As a specialist for the production of transport and sales packaging Peters works with a highly modern machinery park. At the location of Moers, every desired packaging can be produced according to individual specifications Folding boxes, die-cut packaging, displays and large-format transport boxes are produced according to customer’s specification and are refined with up to five colours and infra-red drying. Peters produces automatic glueing of the bottom in diverse variants up to 6-point bonding.

Short and flexible delivery times ensure high customer satisfaction. The high degree of automation in all processes enables fair market prices and high-quality packaging. Apart from certification in keeping with DIN ISO 9001, Wellkistenfabrik Peters has received certification in keeping with GMP and FSC, and operates an environmental management system.

Wellkistenwerk Gross

Strong partner of the middle class

Wellkistenwerk Gross GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1954 in the German town of Versmold, and has belonged to the Peters Group of Companies since 1962. As a processor of corrugated cardboard Gross chooses the ideal solutions always from more than fifty standard qualities. For very special application, the packaging is made of fire-retardant, oil-resistant or electrically conductive corrugated cardboard.

The customers come from the supplier industry, especially from the electric and electronic sector. In intensive co-operation with the customer the products and packaging are matched to one another perfectly. This close linkage along with a specialisation to complex and patchwork packaging requirements results in very long customer relations in parts.

Packing orders, which require confectioning - in manual work or in a material mix - , are handled by Gross reliably. In the design Gross markets all printing options of the Peters Group; flexo print up to two colours is possible in own production.
